Choosing a hearing aid
- Your hearing care professional will explain your hearing loss based on your audiogram and daily hearing challenges.
- We take into account your physical and acoustic comfort, as well as your dexterity in handling your hearing aids.
- We work with all major hearing aid manufacturers.

Fitting and adjustments
- Your hearing care professional will adjust your new hearing aids during your second visit
- The fitting process is done using advanced computer technology based on your audiogram, ensuring the optimal level of amplification
- As a final step, your hearing care professional will take the time to thoroughly explain how to handle your hearing aids, adjust them for different sound environments, and maintain them properly
Post-fitting follow-up
Whether your experience has been positive or challenging, it’s important to meet with your hearing care professional after a few weeks of using your new hearing aids in your daily environment—at home, at work, in the car, etc.
Your hearing care professional will review your feedback, make any necessary adjustments, and provide useful advice (including tips for your loved ones) to optimize both the performance of your hearing aids and your listening comfort.
We recommend scheduling a follow-up visit every six months. Our team is always available to answer any questions about using, adjusting, or maintaining your hearing aids.

Semi-annual maintenance and follow-up
At Marie-Josée Paul Audioprothésistes, we believe that regular maintenance is essential to keeping your hearing aids working properly. That’s why we encourage you to schedule regular check-ups with your hearing care professional, who can assess the condition of your devices and make any necessary repairs. This will ensure your hearing aids continue to provide you with the best possible hearing experience.
Each of our clinics is fully equipped to handle cleaning, adjustments, and repairs.
